Since opening our doors in 1996, we have been an integral part of the Newmarket landscape, and decades on this thoughtfully refurbished space remains central to our community. Using simple, natural materials and a bold palette, our flagship boutique is both confident and directional, speaking strongly to the MUSE customer and contributing to a sense of tactile luxury.

Ponsonby
In 2017 we opened a second boutique in Ponsonby. Working with a large open plan and intimate dressing rooms, the interior design is based around a combination of simple geometric forms accentuated by ornate plaster mouldings. This inviting space is imbued with European sensibilities, while embracing features of the classic Ponsonby villa, further emphasising MUSE’s approach to subtle and layered luxury.

Havelock North
In 2023, we were presented with the opportunity to open a boutique in Hawke’s Bay, to broaden our community and showcase a highly considered collection of pieces from our most loved brands. With its high ceilings, striking arched windows and light, airy interior, our newest space acts as an oasis for shoppers while reflecting and complementing the cultured vibe of the village.
